Today District Governor Randy Feldman recognized Wes Brooks with the "Heart of the Club" Award for going "above and beyond" in his service and dedication to the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg.

Brooks joined the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg in March 2009. Since that time he has served in each office of the club, administrates and oversees the club's printed, internet and social media platforms, has served and chaired various committees, and has held the offices of Sergeant-at-Arms, Secretary-Treasurer, President-Elect, President (2014-2015), and recently completed his year as Past President and five years as Board Director. 
 
Wes Brooks is the Development Coordinator for the DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of Southern Mississippi. Wes is married to the former Shane Phillips, and they have 13 year-old son, Campbell.
