Congratulations to Extra Table Executive Director, Mike Dixon, winner of the Bill Gwyn "Non Rotarian" of the Year! This award is our club's best attempt to look beyond our membership and recognize someone from our region who exemplifies our club's values, our commitment to service, and the empowerment of those less fortunate.
As Executive Director of Extra Table, Mike has been instrumental in raising our community’s awareness of something so important yet often overlooked—seeing to it that people in the Hub City do not go to sleep hungry. In addition to these duties, Mike also serves as Pastor of Ekklesia Hattiesburg and is a devoted husband and father.
This year, the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg is proud to add “The 2015-2016 Bill Gwyn ‘Non-Rotarian’ of the Year” to Mike's many accolades. With this recognition Mike automatically becomes a Paul Harris Fellow with our club's $1,000 donation to the Rotary International Foundation in his name.
