MIRIAM SEALE, PRESIDENT HAAR

Mrs. Seale obtained her B.S. in Medical Record Administration in 1978 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  In 1983 she received her Master’s in Human Relations and Supervision from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.
 
She worked in the health care field for 24 years serving as Assistant Director of Medical Records at Forrest General Hospital, and Director of Quality Assurance and Risk Management at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During her years in the health care field she also taught at Louisiana Tech University and at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
 
Miriam was very active in the State and National Associations of Medical Records holding positions ranging from State President to delegate for the National Association. In 1992, I was recognized as a Health Information Champion by the National Association of Medical Record Administration.
 
Licensed in 2002, Miriam joined Coldwell Banker, Don Nace and quickly became a multi-million dollar producer. She received her Broker’s License in 2008 and opened Crye-Leike Signature One Realty, LLC in July of 2009.

Served on several HAAR Committees, Chaired RPAC Committee,  co-chaired the MLS Committee, served as a Board Director,  and BOD Treasurer.  For several years now I have been a member of the MAR Professional Standards Committee.
In the Community I have served on the Board of the Habitat for Humanity, Sponsored the 2010 and 2011 Parade of Homes benefiting the Mississippi Childrens’ Shelter, Served on the ADP Retirement Committee and am an active member of Venture Church.
 
What I am most proud of - my two girls.  Caitlin is in her final year at Belmont School of Law and Elise is in her first year at Georgetown Law School.
