Sarah has worked as a speech language pathologist in early intervention since 2003. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center including fund development and supervision of staff and university students. Sarah also collaborates with school districts throughout Mississippi, the Mississippi Department of Health’s early intervention program, and other agencies serving young children with disabilities.

Sarah is also an active member at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church. A lifelong resident of the Pine Belt, Sarah enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family.

One in five Mississippians is affected by a medical, mental, or psychological disability- but those diagnoses don't always come with how-to guides or a clear path to community networks. That's why the Person First Special Needs Expo seeks to connect individuals in the Pinebelt to the organizations that support and assist a wide variety of special needs.

Join us for the Pinebelt's first special needs expo on Saturday, August 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pearl River Community College's Multipurpose Room. Admission is free to the public!
